PITTSBURGH, Pa. – A man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly shot his wife and left her on a highway ramp in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Kevin Crew, 37, was arrested on Saturday for allegedly shooting his wife in the leg during an argument while driving on the exit ramp of Interstate 579 to Boulevard of the Allies on Nov. 28, according to WPXI.

Crew allegedly got into the driver’s seat and drove off, leaving the woman there once she got out of the car, police said, according to WPXI.

Police were told that by a tipster that Crew was in an apartment on the 7000 black of Apple Street in Pittsburgh. According to WPXI, officers went into the apartment around 11 a.m. Crew was not there at the time and officers spoke with his current girlfriend, Chelsey McIntosh.

McIntosh reportedly told police she was arranging different locations of places where Crew could stay, according to WPXI.

Crew was found later in an empty neighboring apartment. According to WPXI, Crew was taken into custody. Police said a handgun was also found at the time of his arrest.

According to WPXI, Crew has also been charged with a person not to possess a firearm. McIntosh will be charged with hindering apprehension.
