TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – Officials say that a 34-year-old man was shot and killed Friday night while delivering groceries in Temple Hills, Maryland.

Prince George’s County Police Department said in a news release that they are working to identify and arrest the suspect or suspects who shot and killed Stephen Lee Green, 34, Friday just after 11 p.m.

The shooting happened on the 2200 block of Afton Street, according to WJLA.

Officers found Green inside a car with gunshot wounds, Prince George’s County Police Departmentsaid. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary information found that Green had delivered some groceries at a house when he was shot, according to Prince George’s County Police Department.

Investigators are working to determine a motive behind the shooting, according to WJLA.
