Patricia Dunn, 63, of Los Angeles, told KABC-TV that she had obtained a restraining order against her husband, 62-year-old Ronald Dunn, while going through a divorce. After filing the legal papers, Patricia Dunn said her husband became angrier, KCAL-TV reported.

Journey Meggerson, one of Patricia Dunn’s neighbors, began filming the destruction shortly after 3:30 p.m. PST on Sunday, according to the television station.

“He first came with a white Impala and tore up the garage door,” she said.

But before deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene, Dunn allegedly returned to the area with a dump truck, The Washington Post reported.

It is unclear how Ronald Dunn gained possession of the truck, but a video posted to TikTok and Twitter shows the dump truck speeding up and crashing into the one-story home.

“What is he doing?” one person yells, according to the video.

The dump truck backed up and then rammed into several vehicles parked across from Patricia Dunn’s home, the video shows.

“Fear — complete fear,” Patricia Dunn told KCAL about the encounter. “Because he was like a madman.”

Patricia Dunn said her home’s metal fence was bent to the ground and there are large dents outside of her bedroom, KABC reported.

“I was just trying to stay out of the way,” she told the television station. “So I don’t know if he was drunk or under the influence. I never experienced anything like this in my life.”

Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department did not immediately respond to requests from the Post for comment. As of Wednesday evening, Ronald Dunn had not been arrested, according to online booking records.

The sheriff’s department told City News Service that it could not comment on the ongoing investigation into the incident.

Patricia Dunn said she “fears for her life” and wants to sell the home, KCAL reported.

“I don’t even want this house anymore,” she told the television station. “I want to put it up for sale and just move on, because I’m not comfortable here anymore. I don’t know, he might come back. Who’s to say he’s not? A man who’s under that kind of rage, who’s to say what he might do? He was trying to kill me. He really was.”

“That was honestly the craziest thing I have ever seen,” Meggerson told KABC. “I can’t even believe.”
