Let’s start at the beginning. You can bet on whether the National Anthem sung by Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan will be over or under the time set by bookmakers. Here are a few more of the crazier bets available. By the way, the percentages are the “implied probability”, and they’ll always add up to more than 100% because of the “bookmakers’ edge.”

What color will the liquid be that is poured on the game-winning coach? (“Red” is favorite at roughly 39%. “Orange” is a close second at 38%, followed by “Lime, Yellow, or Green” at 23%, “Clear / Water” at 13%, Blue at 11%, and Purple at 7%)

A new one this year due to masks, which coaches’ NOSTRILS will be seen first during the game? (Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians leads the way with roughly 67% while K.C. Chiefs coach Andy Reid is close to 40%.)

During the Halftime Show, how many songs will The Weeknd and any guests perform this year? (The Super Bowl Halftime Show is usually 12 to 13 minutes and features a MEDLEY of songs. There’s a 67% it will be more and a 40% chance it’s less.)

Will either kicker hit the upright or crossbar on a missed field goal or extra point attempt? (Yes: 24%, No: 84%.)

Who will win the Puppy Bowl? Team “Fluff” is even at 50% and Team “Ruff” has the edge at 58.3%.)

And will the MVP be a male or female? (…still talking about the Puppy Bowl…Male: 57%. Female: 52%.
