CINCINNATI – Authorities arrested a woman Thursday accused of shooting the manager of a Little Caesars restaurant in Ohio after he refused to employ her again after she was fired, according to multiple reports.
The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Little Caesars at 8340 Vine St., WLWT reported. In court records obtained by the news station, officials said 27-year-old Angel Kidd arrived at the restaurant to ask for her job back after she had been fired.
In a sworn statement obtained by WXIX-TV, police said Kidd began fighting with the store manager in the parking lot after he told her she would not be re-hired.
“During the struggle (Kidd) pulled a gun and shot the store manager in the left leg,” the statement read, according to WXIX.
The manager, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, WKRC-TV reported.
Kidd fled after the shooting, according to WXIX. Records from the Hamilton County Justice Center show she was later apprehended and booked on a charge of felonious assault.
She has been ordered to be held on a $500,000 bond, jail records show.
