Former “Dancing with the Stars” pro Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert have announced that they are engaged after six years together.
People Magazine confirmed on Thursday that Hough, 37, and Erbert, 27, are officially engaged. The couple said the engagement happened last Monday after a huge surprise from Hough was put together. Hough had their home filled with flowers.
Hough posted an engagement photo on Instagram.
“It’s only the beginning… the beginning of forever,” Hough captioned the photo.
Hough and Erbert began dating in 2015, according to People Magazine.
They first met in 2014 when Erbert joined Hough and his sister Julianne Hough’s “Move Live Tour,” according to US Weekly. Erbert was also a troupe dancer on DWTS.
