The “Deadpool” actor told The Hollywood Reporter Monday, “I’m just trying to create a little bit more space for my family and time with them.”

He’s calling the break a “sabbatical.”

Reynolds is married to Blake Lively and they have three daughters; James, 6; Inez, 5; and Betty, 2, People magazine reported.

Reynolds recently wrapped his latest film, starring alongside Will Farrell in the Apple TV+ film “Spirited” which was being shot in Boston.

His Netflix film, “Red Notice,” which also stars Gal Gadot and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, starts streaming Friday.

He also has a couple of projects that have been announced, according to his IMDB filmography, including “Deadpool 3,” “Dragon’s Lair” and “Clue.”

Reynolds also will appear in next year’s film “The Adam Project” where he travels back in time to work with his teenaged self, People magazine reported.

When he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter he said, “So, I’ll probably be away from film, or at least shooting films, til the end of the summer.”
