Two people have been arrested in connection with the December 2021 shooting death of rapper Vincent Cohran, known by the stage name Slim 400, Inglewood police announced Monday.
According to KTLA-TV, Michael Lanell Terry, 33, of Los Angeles, and Tamra Lynn Bell, 42, of Inglewood were arrested June 9.
Terry was charged Monday with murder and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, while Bell was charged with accessory after the fact, police confirmed to the TV station.
According to investigators, Cohran was shot and killed just before 8 p.m. Dec. 8, 2021, while exiting his car in the 8600 block of South 7th Avenue in Inglewood, KABC-TV reported.
Officers on patrol in the area responded to the sound of gunfire and found Cohran on the ground, suffering a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short while later at an area hospital.

Authorities have not yet released a motive for the shooting, KTLA reported.
Cohran, 33, was raised in Compton and known for songs including “Goapele” and “Piru,” the TV station reported.
