Beth Bianca Bruna, 22, of Coral Springs, was arrested March 9 and charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon and criminal mischief, according to Broward County online court records. She was released the next day after posting bail, records show.

According to an arrest report, police responded to a domestic dispute call and spoke with a man who said the couple decided to end their relationship, which began in December 2019, WPLG reported. According to the report, Bianca had become enraged when the man went to her apartment and put her belongings on the ground outside the residence, the television station reported.

Bruna confronted him and allegedly began throwing eggs at him, WSVN reported. According to the police report, the man admitted that he got out of his vehicle and hit Bruna with an open hand “with enough force to drop her to the ground,” the television station reported.

Shortly after the confrontation, the woman allegedly returned to the victim’s residence and began damaging his vehicle, WPLG reported. The victim told police that when he attempted to stop Bruna, she took a hammer and hit him above his eye, causing a laceration, the television station reported.

The assault ended when Bruna’s sister intervened, police said.
